Collisiondata has the resources needed to get you quick and cost-effective answers, including the latest technology within our industry, certified and trained EDR Technicians ready to travel anywhere in Southeast United States, and a knowledgeable staff willing to explain the recovered data to help understand your accident, loss, or claim.
A majority of Collisiondata's Commercial Vehicle downloads are "just in case". One never knows when a lawsuit will arise and claims of evidence spoliation will follow because the accident data was not preserved. With commercial engines, data can be lost if the truck is moved or even if the engine is started. So when you have an accident, secure...
Vehicle infotainment and telematics systems store a vast amount of data such as the exact location and time of incidents and vehicle events, whose cell phone or media devices were connected to the vehicle and when, navigation track logs showing you everywhere the vehicle has been, hard braking and hard acceleration events even when typical EDR events have not...
EDR DATA RECOVERED BY COLLISIONDATA PROVIDES A QUICK AND ACCURATE SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ACCIDENT AT A LOW PRICE
The data collected from your vehicle's "black box" provides valuable information in regard to case evaluation and claims investigation. We are able to retrieve information such as:
How fast the vehicle was traveling in the seconds leading to impact.
If the driver was actively accelerating into a collision or reducing throttle.
How hard the driver braked, if at all in reaction to the events around them.
If the driver made any avoidance attempt to steer left or right before impact.
Were seat belts in use at the time of accident.
Severity of impact (delta-v).
If the vehicle was moving or stopped before impact.
The order of impacts, who hit who first.
If the EDR data matches the statements of those involved.
Collisiondata was created so that everyone can afford to access the Event Data Recorder (EDR)/black box information stored in their own vehicle. So many questions can be answered by just accessing the electronic data in your vehicle, so why should you have to pay thousands upon thousands of dollars through an accident reconstruction or engineering firm to retrieve data that is yours anyways? At Collisiondata, we are committed to being a leader in the accident data recovery industry. We verify our equipment and software is updated to the latest standards every time we complete an assignment because properly imaging your data is very important to us.
Our specialized team of technicians are trained in acquiring automotive EDR data in accordance with the latest forensic and industry standards. We provide our services to insurance companies, attorneys, fleet owners, law enforcement, private accident reconstruction firms, and the general public.
